Updated to provide even more comfort, this 18th generation of the fan-favorite Ghost sits on lightweight cushioning that takes you from sprints to miles to everyday activities without missing a step.

Perfect for: Everyday runners and walkers looking for a lightweight, versatile shoe that transitions from a runner to a sneaker with performance comfort that keeps up in any activity.

Upper: Engineered air mesh breathes easy as it flexes and recovers with every stride and step. Flatter tongue ensures distraction-free lockdown.

Midsole Drop: 10mm, the most common and generally considered to be the ideal standard for running shoes. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Lower: DNA LOFT v3 foam transitions every stride from soft landings to springy toe-offs. Supportive midsole helps stabilize both steps and strides. RoadTack Rubber provides grippy ground contact and flexible rebound as you move.

Ghost 18 were terrible shoes.

I hate these shoes if I could give them a 0 rating I would. They have your heel lifted up and all your weight is on the ball of your foot. Why can't brooks leave these shoes alone have you ever heard if it ain't broke don't fix it. I sent the ghost 18 back they were not wearable. I am looking at Hoka and some other brands. I have been wearing ghost shoes for 12 years but will have to start wearing something else.

Lace holes too small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi Brooks Team The laces holes are too small. Some of us like changing out the laces on our new Brooks running shoes. The holes have gotten smaller going from ghost 17 to 18 and the lace tips hardly fit through without great difficulty. It would be appreciated if on the next version of Ghost 18 (without making any changes that affect biomechanics like offset etc.) but enlarge the lace holes so we can easily change our laces more easily. Shoes

Ghost 18.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have plenty of shoes for various activities but for me the Ghost 18 is my walker. Fit was perfect out of the box. I dont think about them when they are on as they become basically invisible with zero hot spots or distracting issues.
