Hands Down The Best Straightener I've Ever Used!
To start, I have crazy thick, very textured, wavy, frizzy, very long hair that is a nightmare to tame. I've been straightening it for about about 15 years now, have gone through about 6 flat irons in that time period, and this one is by far the best I've ever used. It fully heats up in about 15 seconds, never snags, has never burned me, glides smoothly, protects my hair against humidity, leaves it super soft and shiny, and straightens perfectly in 1-2 passes (2 for my crazy hair but should take 1 pass for most hair types). With other straighteners, Chi in particular, I would have to go back over sections of my hair every morning to get some light waves and kinks out from sleeping and/or humidity, but I rarely ever have to do any touching up with this iron and I can usually go 5-7 days between straightening. On top of all that awesomeness, it doesn't get as hot as other irons, because it doesn't have to, which makes a big difference if, like me, you're worried about heat damage. And, it automatically shuts off, so all of the OCD people of the world won't have to drive home in the middle of the day to check and see if they forgot to unglug it. ;) Seriously, this thing is worth every penny and I would absolutely pay more. Buy it!

Keep your money
I read the reviews before purchasing such an expensive item. Tried it on my hair, my daughter tried it on hers. This product does nothing more than your average 50$ hair straightener. It was big and awkward and the plates only heated to 365. My John Frieda heats to 455 and I have had it 3 years. While I did not dislike this product, it is extremely overpriced, does not produce the heat needed, and it does grab and pull at the hair.

Eh not impressed
For $200, I'd better LOVE this straightener. I don't. I have long wavy hair (a lot of hair) and I section it to straighten. This iron didn't get all of my waves straight. I have a $50 T3 from Costco that works better. Save your money.

Worth the Price
I don't like to straighten my super thick semi-wavy hair hair often, but for those special occasions I decided to use the Ghd Gold Series flat iron based upon reviews. Needless to say, it's worth the price and the 2 inch plates help straighten, remove frizz and speeds up the process of styling my hair in a short time. If you have long, thick hair I highly recommend the Ghd!

Love it!
it does a bautiful job on my hair! I have thick hair so I like the wider as it gets bigger chunks. Also it really reduces the frizz and leaves it nice and shiny and smooth.

Sizing
I got a size 24, but they fit like a 23. A little tighter than expected, but once I wore them they stretched out a little so they were not as uncomfortable as when I first tried them on and they were super tight.
