Disappointed with changes.
The new iteration of the Asics Gel Kayano caused me knee, hip, and inner thigh muscle pain. I have been running in this brand and style with great comfort for several years. I am very disappointed.

squeaky
Loved the shoes for a week but they are very squeaky now. I bought them to wear indoors (only) for extra support on hardwood floors. I have a pair of the last version which don’t squeak. This pair is getting louder so they need to be returned.

Allowed me to run again
These shoes are crucial for my run! I would often end a run with pain in my arches or heel. I started to focus on my form and it helped but these shoes really allowed me to take off with no pain! I also used them for a trip to Disneyland and my knees had no pain throughout the 3 days!

Favorite running & walking shoe
The Kayano has been my go-to sneaker for walking and running for probably 15 years, and only noticeable thing that changes is the Kayano number. Right amount of support and cushion, and not too heavy either. Just wish Nordstrom carried more colors.

Asics are my go to shoes. For many years I have worn the Gel-Kayano for long-distance running; however, recently purchased the 32 for indoor walking. This shoe used to fit my foot like a glove providing excellent support for pronation. However, since the structural changes, this is no longer the case. Overall, the 32 shoe is comfortable and good quality but lacks the support I am looking for. I don't usually give ratings but I hope the company considers our feedback in future design models.
