What it is: A silky serum foundation that improves skin over time to leave you glowing with a soft radiance and all day color-true wear.

What it does: The foundation helps even, smooth and moisturize skin. It improves skin over time so you glow with soft radiance. The silky serum has the beauty benefits of a sheer, tinted skin-tone perfector. It instantly helps create an ultranatural radiant finish with light coverage. The formula is sweat- and humidity-resistant. It has eight-hour staying power for all-day wear that's nonstreaking, noncreasing and nonporing. It hydrates and conditions instantly. Each application helps protect against UVA and UVB damage with broad-spectrum SPF 20. Skin is left feeling comfortable and is gently refined over time to a softer, smoother texture. Skin looks more even and imperfections are diffused.

Key ingredients:

- Botanical oil infusion to help nourish and strengthen. Includes meadowfoam seed, calendula and rosehip oils

- Soft clay cocoons surround the oils to create a comfortable, quick-setting finish that’s lightweight and glowy, never greasy

- A resurface and tone duo (a combination of glucosamine and trametes versicolor extract) works to help smooth skin texture and improve skin tone over time

• Moisture saccharides and glycerin help deliver a surge of immediate and long-lasting, all-day moisture

How to use: Shake the serum foundation well. Smooth the skin tint with SPF foundation over skin. Start at center of face and blend outward. Avoid getting in eyes.

Game Changer
I’ve used Double Wear for years. Even though I like the color and coverage, I felt like it was a little heavy and didn’t always look smooth. I continued to buy and try other foundations, hoping to find one that worked better on my 50-something, uneven, aging skin. Liked the tinted moisturizers, but didn’t like the coverage. After trying many different brands at every price point, I couldn’t find anything I liked better. Now I have, and it’s Futurist. This has the coverage of Double Wear, with the feel and SPF of a tinted moisturizer. After my normal cleansing and moisturizing routine, I apply an all-over layer with my fingers. Then I go back and apply more on those uneven areas with a sponge. I’m just an average person who rarely writes reviews, but this is a game changer!

Have always lived Estee products and perfume, but this skin tint was disappointing. After a few hours, it looked oily and started to separate. I had to wash it all off at work.

So disappointed
I love my Estée Lauder foundations, most of all their double wear sheer, which now seems to be replaced by this new product. I use shade Pebble and it’s my perfect shade in all of their products. This one, awful! It’s not the same at all. It’s so much more orange. So disappointed. Now I’m going to have to search high and low for something else.

Irritates eyes and Rancid oil smell
Perfect color for my skin. Smooth and light feeling when applied, not heavy nor full coverage. Loved initially for its lovely tone on my skin and light and breathable feel. Yet eye irritation has persistent whenever I used this foundation. Previous Futurist foundation SPF45 didn’t irritate my eyes. Now I’ve used for a bout a month and its bad smell, like a rancid oil, bothers me along with eye irritation. Have to stop using it even if I love the color. Quite disappointing.

Love this product!
I'm in my 60s and bought this to try it. I'm new to applying foundation the way the pros show you: put some on the back of your hand and use a nice brush to apply lightly on your face. Well, with this SkinTint serum, that method works wonderfully. Coverage is light but enough and can be built up to close to a full coverage effect. The color I got is nearly exactly my skin tone and it seems this serum just works better on my dry aging skin than a more matte, full-coverage true foundation. So glad to discover this!
