Fur-Free Mink (Faux Fur) Coat

I scoured the internet for fit reviews of this coat, didn't find anything, not even on the manufacturer's website. I normally wear an 8-10, so I purchased a medium, thinking I'd have it altered. I'm 5'3", and it goes to my ankles. At 51" from the shoulder, I wasn't surprised. That said, after I purchased this one, I kept looking and then realized that the same coat is available in a shorter version, with 40" from the shoulder to the hem. By then, I'd seen one Nordstrom review on the short version that said it was oversized. I purchased the short version, same price, in a small. I'm waiting on it to be delivered. The extra small is sold out, so I'm hoping the small works. I plan to have the sleeves shortened. I'll update when I receive it. (Also, the coat is gorgeous, well made, and lighter than I anticipated.)
