Full Hand Drawn Batik Tulis Bandana

This is an authentic 100% fully hand drawn batik bandana that is hand-dyed and hand-drawn by artisans, inspired by Indonesia’s traditional pagi-sore (morning-evening) batik. This fabric is handmade by artisans in Java using centuries old wax & dye using canting hand drawn batik tool. In Indonesian this is called Batik Tulis which translate to Drawn or Written Batik. This bandana features two distinct patterns in one piece—hibiscus flowers reminiscent of our founder's childhood walks in Indonesia on one side, and California poppies representing a new home on the other. This fabric is made from soft lightweight bandana fabric. This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-drawn and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color. This pattern is called Pagi Sore with motif Poppy and Hibiscus Size: 19.7”x20.5” Made with 100% cotton fabric Machine washable in cold and air dry. Wash batik separate from other garments. You can wear them as bandana around your neck, as a head and hair cover wrap or as a face mask.
