[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these boots in October in 7. 5. I purchased another pair and went a half size larger since they are difficult to take off. There isn't much difference in the fit. The ankle, shin, calve portion of the boot is a bit narrow. But otherwise they are a great purchase. Leather quality is great.

Good quality, a bit stiff on ankle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought both brown suede and black. Both of them are in very good quality. Warm and stylish. They are very practical as well, chunky heels help the short person like me and can walk safely on ice in the cold winter. I chose over knee so my knee can get covered in the winter. Major of my winter working clothes is dress or skirt. Suede one has very soft and hugging leather. Black one leather is stiff but easy to maintain. If I have to choose one out of two, I recommend suede because they are more comfortable. Overall I am happy with both boots. Frye does make good boots. I am 5’3” and normally wear 6. 5 shoe size. I bought both Frye in 6. 5 and they fit. I feel they run a bit loose on the calf but that’s what I need.

I love Frye boots with
I love Frye boots with all my heart! This is the third pair I've owned over the span of at least 20 years and the one favorite consistency is comfort. I can walk and literally have walked miles in these boots. They have all worn well and held up, which makes it worth the investment. This over the knee style with a higher heel than I usually go for I was a bit dubious of wearing for the first time to a holiday parade because it was a lot of walking on unstable terrain in Madrid, New Mexico but I did it and have zero complaints. If you're thinking about getting these, go for it! I got so many compliments!

I’ve been searching for an
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been searching for an over-the-knee boot that would fit my slightly larger, more muscular calves, and these are the first pair that truly worked. My calf circumference is about 15 inches (39 cm), which is usually just too big for most styles—especially those without a zipper. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these slid on perfectly! The suede is soft, flexible, and incredibly comfortable overall.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the foot size runs large. I’m always an 8. 5 and have owned other Frye boots in this size with no issues, but this pair feels noticeably big. If I could have exchanged them for an 8, I absolutely would have. Unfortunately, since they were a sale item, exchanges weren’t an option—so I guess I will be pairing them with extra-thick socks! 😄
