They ruined a good thing :(
I’ve been a loyal 860 wearing for v13 and v14, but this new version is unwearable. I got my usual size (as I have for years), and my big toe presses right into the shoe.
I might try a larger size, but I’m not sure if a half size up and/or a wider size would help or if it would be worth the hassle. The foam on the v15 is so huge that I truly don’t think it would be comfortable even with a better fit.
I’m truly disappointed, because I was so excited when I found the v13 years ago. I have metatarsalgia and arthritis, and the 860s were the only shoes I could wear without any pain. Now it seems like I’m back to searching for an acceptable replacement.

Why would they ruin a iconic stability shoe?
I switched to New Balance v860 after Hoka updated their Arahi- a couple of years ago and made the Arahi completely unwearable and now New Balance has done that! With this update, my calves are strained and my soles hurt! I used to stock up the V860 in bulk and now i need to go out in the market again and search for a good shoe!

Terrible update
I am glad that I went to try these on before purchasing. The update to this shoe is awful, I hated it. The toe box was too wide and the heel to toe drop while walking felt unstable. I also found the cushion to be lacking, rendering the shoe uncomfortable. Please bring back the v13, that was the last great version of this sneaker.

Different from other versions, superior running!
When these first arrived and I put them on I was a bit nervous. I've bought 860s for years now because I need the added stability. These felt different - almost like they curve on the bottom and have this almost rocking feel. I tried them running and boy did that make a difference! I ran a full mile per hour faster than I am used to. And I did it a few times so it wasn't just a good day. I know I probably can't say it's all the shoes but something about the way they are constructed helps with propelling me forward without compromising agility. Anyway, I'm thrilled.
