Beautiful Boot, BUT……

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this boot in my regular size, 9. The description on the web site said the circumference of the boot was 18” with the laces adjusted. The boot’s construction does not allow for adjustment unless you are going SMALLER! The main circumference of the boot is only 15” it will not fit over a calf larger than about 14 1/2”. When I contacted Freebird, they told me that I just needed to break them in, fully unlaced the boot from the bottom up…… It’s hard to break in a boot when you can’t even get your leg into it! I have a 16” calf, and fully expected this boot to fit. Do not buy these boots unless you have a very slender calf 14-15” or smaller!!!
