Retro Love Midi Skirt

Just to be upfront, the way it is worn on the model with the side slit is not how the skirt is to be worn. The buttons are actually the front of the skirt and is supposed to be worn in the middle accoring to the tag etc. It can be worn to the side, however, please be aware that if you wear the skirt to the side, like the model, that the seams of the skirt look a little funny with the polka dots. If you wear the buttons in the front in the middle at your belly button the seams are hidden on the sides of your hips. Not what I expected, but I am still keeping the skirt. Just keep that in mind before purchasing.

I love how this skirt looks and feels, however you need to wear a long black tank tucked in, or high waisted black underwear since when you sit down the buttons do what buttons do, the pucker and open. Really relieved I wore a long black tank with it to the office my first time wearing it, otherwise I would have been mortified. They should have had more fabric overlapping at the top of the skirt.

I bought this during Anniversary Sale. It fits true to size and the length even works for petite gals. The buttons could be closer together because the fabric tends to gap between them. Putting the buttons to the side remedies that situation. It fits true to size and will be a nice transitional piece for fall.
