Golden Hour Smocked Bodice Cotton Maxi Dress

Not only does the dress look and feel like a dress you can purchase at Target for $29.99 (Target dress might even be higher quality), but when did Nordstrom stop checking their returns before reselling them?? The chest is completely destroyed, which can attest to the poor quality. You can see by the tags that it has been returned. What is going on with the pockets? They are sewn on in opposite directions? It feels so weird, it can’t possibly be on purpose. Not worth the full price, not worth the sale price. Oh, and if you have hips it doesn’t fall loosely, just sticks out and looks weird. It’s a big no from me. Free People and Nordstrom, you can do better. (Purchased a small)

I loved almost everything about this dress but unfortunately, it was too low cut for me. If helpful, I’m 5’9 and a size 12 with C cups and the large fit well, aside from being low cut. If you’ve got less up top or don’t mind showing a lot of cleavage; this could work for you. For me, it just felt like a lot of boob for a fairly casual dress.

I absolutely love this dress!! Got so many compliments when I wore it! Like other reviews state, the neckline is low, but you can easily wear a bralette underneath to hide the cleavage. I wear it to work with a nude bralette and it’s perfect. I’m 6’0 and usually a size 8.. ordered the medium and it fits perfect. Definitely tall girl friendly!! For my height it almost touches the floor and hits right above my ankle. I love how flowy the dress is, yet is still fitted at the waist to make it flattering.

Found the perfect dress to wear for lunch/brunch/early dinner. It was lighter weight than I expected. It is a light gauze. It is low cut. Be ready to show some cleavage. It has pockets. There is some elastic so it thankfully accentuated my waist. Too many dresses feel boxy. I have a long torso and this still worked. For reference I am 5'9. TTS. Received many compliments.
