I AM IN LOVE!
This shirt. This is THE white shirt. The drape and silky hand of the linen! The way it says “class” the second you put it on.
First, iron the packing creases out. Then try it on. You can’t tell enough about it on your body otherwise. Of course that’s just my opinion, but for me there was a big difference in how much I loved it between trying it on for size (34-25-35, size XS is perfect) and seeing how it REALLY looks. It’s “blousy”, but the way the linen hangs keeps it from seeming like you’re wearing an unflattering balloon of a shirt. Oh and the button placement! These people get it. No gaps, no cleavage showing, just 100% class. Totally worth the price.

Do not order Frank and Eileen from Nordstrom
This item is shipped from the vendor. I specifically ordered a linen shirt for a trip to a hot region, but instead I received the poplin version of this shirt. Customer service was useless as the only solution was for me to return the item without receiving an expedited replacement because vendor shipped items cannot be expedited. I had actually paid for expedited shipping with the vendor for a different item and received it on Saturday, and had I placed my order for this shirt with the vendor I would have received it by now. Definitely disappointed.

Great classic basic
I find F&E shirts tend to run large on my 5'3" petite frame. I wear a size 0 and the XXS fits true to size. I usually have to stay away from the F&E shirts where the size XS is equivalent to a 0-2. The white is a little see through, so not like pictured. I don't mind wearing a cami underneath. It's a great classic basic to add to your collection.

Lovely linen
Lovely linen and construction but it runs on the big size, i.e. more relaxed style. For point of reference, I got the X X Small and even then it felt slightly big.

wearing on repeat
I have a similar button down by frank & eileen that I thrifted and fell in love with. There’s nothing like a white button down and linen seemed perfect for summer. This runs big as I’m typically a s/m and I take an xs in the Eileen style. The Barry style is tts and too small for me in a size xs. I have hardly taken this off since purchasing. I knew I’d love it, and that’s how I justified the price. Cost per wear is key.
