Key ingredients:

How to use: Scoop up a small amount of Cleanser and warm it between fingers before massaging it on dry skin, in circular motions. To rinse, wet the EVE LOM 100% Muslin Cloth in hot water and buff off, focusing on any areas of concern (like dryness, congestion or heavy makeup). Rinse cloth and repeat a second and third time before finishing with a cold compress using the cloth and cold water. After use, rinse cloth with cold water and wring out excess. Use in the morning and evening as the first step in your cleansing ritual. Follow with your favorite serum and moisturizer.

I am a convert!
Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a person who has to run out and buy the most expensive thing out there. There are products that I choose to spend more money on and products that I know that I'll be just as happy with even if they came from a drugstore.
I use a Clarisonic Mia religiously, and I have been looking for a balm cleanser that rinses cleanly enough to use with my Mia. I hadn't found the right one so I had been using my Mia with a mild liquid cleanser every other day in the shower, and in the evening I used a balm cleanser from a British drugstore line.
I was intrigued by the Eve Lom. I googled videos for usage instructions and reviews and decided it was a must try. This is the PERFECT balm cleanser. It rinses more cleanly than any balm cleanser I've tried. It isn't stripping (and there comes an age when all women need to be gentler with their skin!). And here is the big thing for me, I was able to evenly dispense the Eve Lom cleanser with my fingertips, use my Mia, and completely rinse the balm from my Mia brush with no residue left behind.
(After massaging the balm in with the Mia, I follow the Eve Lom instructions for use with the muslin cloth.)
I can't believe the way my skin looks since I started using the Eve Lom. It's incredible. And yes, I'm totally willing to pay the big bucks for the big tub!

Eve Lom Cleanser: Overrated, Underwhelmed
Got a sample after reading about this product. Smells awful, looks awful, dislike the process of using, reusing and rinsing a wet cloth for my sensitive skin with an oily, gloppy dark brown substance that contains five parabens. I love easy to use fresh smelling cleansers morning and night. This isn’t it.

Decent cleanser but...
I like the smell and the texture...it seems to be a love/hate kinda thing. The issue I have is this: Why does a cleanser for which top-shelf price is charged have a cheap filler (mineral oil) as its first ingredient? If it's been around 25 years, with all the advances in research and all the competing balm cleansers out there, surely Eve Lom could have risen to the occasion with an improvement in the formula. If they can't be bothered to make improvements, then I can't be bothered to repurchase. I'm fine with spending my hard earned $$ on another skin care line.

Don't understand the hype
I just don't understand the hype around this cleanser. I've been using it for about a week, and while I love the scent and enjoy the ritual of the process, I just haven't seen any particular benefits that would justify the expense. I do like the muslin cloths, so I will keep using those after I am done with the cleanser, but I will be going back to my old standby philosophy real purity cleanser.

SMELLS HORRIBLE!
I got some samples of this and tried. It cleaned alright, not better than my favorite mac cleanse off oil or any other average makeup remover. But the smell!! It's like gasoline mixed with rotten organism in a forest, just horrible. As someone who is not at all sensitive to the smell of any other skincare product or makeup, I simply can't stand it.

So, SO great.
I bought this stuff because a make-up artist I follow on YouTube recommended it, and because of the glowing reviews on the Nordstrom website. For once, I can say that a pricey product lives up to the hype! Normally I choose to spend more money on my moisturizer and less on my cleanser, and I generally stick to whatever gentle stuff I can find for under $10 since my skin is fairly normal, BUT, man oh man, THIS stuff is great. Normally I have a couple of red-ish patches around my chin, and I had a blemish/ dry patch or two in that area when I started using this last week. The redness is basically gone, not more dry patches, and the blemishes are getting better and not popping up in other places on my chin (which usually happens). The cleanser smells like cloves and chamomile tea, which makes since because that's what's in the stuff. I've basically stopped using concealer/foundation in the usual spots on my face, so I am one happy girl!
