Quella Leather Buckle Sandal

It is unbelievable that these Forever and Always Quella Leather Buckle Sandal are sold for the price of $169 dollars. They are advertised as real leather which is hard to believe. When I picked up the sandals and undid the buckle black stuff was all over my hands (the sandals I ordered were brown). Regardless there should not of been anything on my hands. The straps were thin and flimsy. They felt like a dried rubber band that was about to snap. The buckles are plastic and spray painted gold. Pictures attached for reference. These sandals are not even worth $20. I thought Nordstrom had better quality control.

If you do not live near a full-fledged, Nordstrom’s, you cannot return this to a Nordstrom Rack. I live over an hour away from a Nordstrom’s but there’s a Nordstrom Rack within 20 minutes and they could not return it. What’s even more frustrating as Nordstrom’s does not indicate this on their listing. When I filled out the return, they also did not indicate that I could not return it at a Nordstrom’s rack. I just wasted an hour of my time trying to return something that I could not. I now have to pack it up and go to a Fedex. The shoes are cute, but they’re not worth the hassle and exchanging them for the correct size in the event they still don’t work out.

I really love these shoes. So much, that when the medallion from the toe strap detached from the horizontal toe strap even before I wore them, I exchanged them for a new pair because they are really beautiful on my feet. I hope the second pair will be better crafted. I plan to wear these with summer dresses throughout the season.

These just arrived in the mail today, the metal buckle is sitting in the box unattached to the shoe- there is no way to reattach the buckle or no way to wear the shoe. They seem like they will be super comfortable and they are very cute- but I have to return them and hope the next pair is not damaged as well
