We are grateful for your taking the time to share your experience. We always want the little ones using our products to be safe, comfy & stylish. We use high-quality, German-made water-based dyes (never synthetic chemical dyes) for all our prints, and our fabrics are tested for colourfastness to ensure safety and durability through 50 wash/dry cycles. However, with darker prints on TENCEL™ Lyocell, which is made from natural wood pulp fibres, you may notice a slight change in texture or appearance after washing. This is a natural process called fibrillation — it’s what gives the fabric its signature softness and silky "peach skin" feel. To help maintain the vibrancy of darker colours, we recommend washing the garment inside out on a gentle cycle and using a detergent formulated for dark fabrics, such as Woolite Dark Defence, since traditional detergents often contain whiteners or bleach. Please rest assured that the possible slight colour run-off of the natural dye and fibrillation does not affect the product's safety, comfort or usability.
