absorbs smells which are hard to remove

The dress does not run very big (despite the label), it is cute but the fabric absorbs smells which are difficult to remove. I bought this for an event but I was so disappointed by the smell, I never wore it. I washed it with vinegar and that seemed to help but not entirely. Total waste of money.
