Kånken Cotton Mini Shoulder Pads

I bought these in the pink color to go with my emerald colored Re-Kanken which I'll be wearing while on vacation at Disneyworld. I've read many reviews saying how these don't cover the entire strap, but if you leave the top button unbuttoned from the top of the backpack, they will just slide up and down the strap so you can move it where you need to for comfort. I like the contrasting color against my backpack, and the straps are extremely easy to put on and take off. They weigh close to nothing and I do not find them cumbersome to wear.

Not what I expected: Much simpler version & doesn't fit backpack well Wasn't sure if this was an authentic Fjallraven item or not when I got it! It is different from what is shown on Fjallraven's official website (see first attached image). On that site, the shoulder pads have an extra loop in the middle and securing buttons (one for over the bag's top plastic loop) and the other around the strap at the bottom--and when attached to a backpack, it looks very attractive! The original strap should be able to "shine through" the shoulder pads so that the pads are simply just an accent to the bag. I could not do it with my shoulder pads received from Nordstrom (see 2nd image)--they simply wrapped around the straps and were just secured around the top loop of the bag. Perhaps these here are an older model? Shoulder pads are also one-size fits all and doesn't work that well on a Kanken (or re-Kanken backpack, which is what I got. As the straps are shorter on a smaller bag, the pads get bulky and "stick out" /not conforming against the body). I will unfortunately, be returning these shoulder pads...but keeping the beautiful re-Kanken backpack!!
