Five Layer Fringe Boot (Women)

I've been wanting these boots for over 15 years. Let's be honest - Pocahontas may have had some sort of impact on me... nevertheless, I could never afford them and I was also worried about my calves fitting into them. As far as riding or dress boots go, I've almost always had to get wide-calf boots and even some jeans or pants are difficult to get y calves through. I'm a petite gal of 5'2", size four, small-medium tops but I do have decent-sized calves. On the site, it said that if you were a half size with bigger calves to go up a size. i'm usually a 6.5 so I originally ordered a seven. I could zip them up immediately with little issues and they were very comfortable but I did have some room in the foot. Additionally, it felt like I was walking off of some of the sole. I know that suede stretches and considering my calf could fit fine in the 7s and they shoe part themselves were already a bit big after wearing them once, I decided that I at least had to try the 6s. I ended up ordering the 6s and I'm SO glad I did.I did have to stretch the tops a bit... it was a little struggle to get them to zip over the leggings I was wearing but after i wore them for about an hour, it had already stretched the calf part so it was easier to zip next time. Now the sole-part fits perfectly. In both the 6 and 7 I had NO rubbing and the were comfortable all day (6+ hours). In short, I'm a 6.5 with a wider calf. The 7s zipped but the sole was a bit lose. The 6s were more difficult to zip but stretched after 1-2 wears and the foot fit SO much better. REMEMBER THAT SUEDE STRETCHES. If you're at all worried that you should have sized down, do it. No regrets.

I purchased these boots twice and both times I was DISAPPOINTED! The first pair, size 8 was too small and the zipper didn't go all the way down so I could get them on. After fighting with it for several minutes, I was successful. They were so tight that my big toe was going to eventually find its way out, and they would not zip up completely. I returned them and reordered the size 9. The fit was better, more comfortable, but the zipper was still bad. That's when I had to concede to the poor quality of this boot. The zipper separated on both feet of the second pair, even before I zipped them up. They are certainly not worth the price. I'm done. This brand is not for me or worth my money.
