NEO-D-HYKER (XT) Water Resistant Walking Sandal (Women)

These are well made shoes with good support, but not for me. I'm usually a 9.5, 10, or 40, but these seemed so long that I double checked the box to make sure I got the right size. I was surprised to see that these are labeled as bit a US 10 and a size 42. (In my experience, most of the time 10=40.) I think they'd be a bit small if you were an 11.5 or a 12, but they were too long for me. Interestingly, I was able to tighten the straps without too much extra slack in the length. If you always have leftover straps or laces after tightening your shoes because you have low foot volume, these might be good for you. Unfortunately, even if they had fit, I think the recessed brand mark in the heel cup of the shoe would be a deal breaker. As I've aged I've become a more sensitive soul with sensitive soles and I hate the way that this design feels...on my heels.

I bought these for daily walking, as they are billed as hiking sandals. Unfortunately they are a huge disappointment. Zero arch support. My ankles were collapsing after a mile. The straps are very stiff and hard to adjust. Unfortunately I wore them out and can’t return them. I guess I will wear them to work occasionally. They are just a fashion sandal, not for active use. Not worth the money.
