Lulu Slingback Sandal (Women)

I've been looking at these shoes for a while, couldn't decide if I wanted the velcro straps. But I'm looking for a good city travel sandal and decided to give it a try. I'd previously ordered FitFlops in size US 7 (38) and the last pair (F-Mode) was just too loose and I got blisters from the straps. I ordered these in size 37 which was a much better fit, although I was a little concerned they'd be too small since another pair in size 37 needed to be returned. These are really cute and comfortable. I did end up using a nail file to smooth the velcro edge closest to my ankle because it rubbed a little bit. So far, no issues with blisters.

I was looking for burgundy/maroon sandals and when I saw these online I was thrilled because I love FitFlops. I have many FitFlop sandals, shoes, and boots. In fact, one reason I bought these was because a pair of sandals I wear a lot are getting old and I was thinking I need a replacement. So why 4 and not 5 stars? The color. It's too dark with not enough color. In fact they almost look black. I've considered returning them, but except for the color I love them. So I'll enjoy a new pair of FitFlop sandals and continue looking for burgundy sandals.
