OR changed their sizing and didn't tell us!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been buying OR and these shorts for years, just ordered 4 more new pair of 36" and they are almost 2" smaller in the waist than all of my previous OR 36" purchases. Also returned 2 new shirts because of sizing as well. Then was forced to spend the extra $28 to expedite 38" to get them in time for my travels. Now am afraid of ordering anything more from OR.

Great Shorts but Early pilling of the fabric
I like the shorts. They fit true to size and are comfortable. The only thing I have against them is that the fabric pilled around the pockets the first time I wore them.

Fab!
Just like the pants love these highly breathable and lightweight shorts. Perfect for all my summer adventures from boating to hiking. Will be getting more of these for sure. Sizing is spot on!

Great except for the front pockets.
Love the cut. Great, breathable material but front pockets are basically useless if you plan to put something in them that you want to keep. Not worth 1/4 of the price. Ferrosi pants front pockets are way better.

My new favorites!!
Just received my new Ferrosi shorts and am very impressed. Very lightweight (perfect for our hot/humid summers), breathable and the perfect amount of stretch. The secure zip pockets are perfect when out scrambling, won't loose any belongings. Stitching is strong and really like the 1 sided front mesh pockets to vent out heat and moisture. Only minor issue is they could be a little deeper. Otherwise fantastic shorts, you won't be disappointed at all

Great features and fit
The fit of these shorts is great and I love the high functionality (zip fly, zip pocket), without the high weight. I'm a muscular thigh guy at 5'8" and 165lbs and the 31" fits great, very streamlined straight leg fit. Super comfortable for day wear so far - can't wait to take them on a 10-day hike this summer!
