Ferrosi Pants

I bought the pants in September and have worn them a few times. I did not notice the hole in my pocket until someone found my pocket knife on the ground. Not sure if it just occurred or was shipped that way. This is my second try in the Ferrosi line. The first was a hoodie that was shipped to me frayed. Not feeling confident about this line of clothing.

Became aware of this product when lots of guys I knew overseas wore it to stay cool without the added sunburn or UV overexposure. It works great while being active on hot days, especially if there is some wind. My only complaint(inconvenience) is the sizing around the thighs. While I dont have the largest quads mine are decently sized and it essentially turns these into skinny pants. Otherwise an amazing product that I wear consistently.

They do their job. Light and I can move in them and hold up to moving around.

I did the John Muir Trail in these pants and they were amazing. It was near 100 degrees at the middle of the day while hiking and thanks to the slightly loose fit and lightweight material, my legs never got swampy. I loved wearing pants so that I didn't have to put sunblock on my legs and kept my legs from getting filthy due to the dusty trail. I used to exclusively hike in Prana pants, but these are by far my new favorite.

I love the pants but they seem to run slightly small. They fit loosely on my thighs and legs but hug quite tightly on the waist. I had to send back and buy a bigger size. Also I don't love the pockets. They are a weird vertical type of pocket that almost seems like the pants are climbing pants or something and not super practical for daily use or hiking. They make a phone tightly hug into your thigh due to how tight the top of the pocket is. I will have to see how it fits with the bigger size. I love how light the pants feel though.
