Archeon 30-Liter Backpack

Tag on product informs you that this backpack exposes you to dimethylformamide; I really wish nordstrom had that info listed on the website so I would not have wasted time and money purchasing and returning it. I realize this may not be something every potential buyer cares about, but for those who do, it would be helpful to know prior to purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent tech pack. It carries well, it's extremely durable, it has a lot of great organization, and I love how I can just slap the Archeon laptop case in there and take it out if I want to carry less that day. However, there is one thing keeping me from giving it a 5*: The side pockets. Despite having stretch mesh, they push too much into the interior of the pack rather than the exterior. The zipover side panels cause any moderately sized water bottle to get shoved far into the interior sides, significantly reducing interior space. I'd much rather have them protrude a bit more and alter the silhouette so that I could actually make use of the full interior capacity and still have a bottle.

Very well thought out. An abundance of pockets and storage for all of those little essentials while travelling. Tablets, head phones, chargers, passports and wallets etc, all have their own pocket. Plenty of room for a jacket and hoody and the main zip up compartment. Tough/ durable material on the outside. It feels solid and ticks all the boxes for what I need from a travelling pack. Definitely a thumbs up from me. It is worth the money.

Been an Osprey fans for years. My previous favorite work backpack was the Osprey Tropos. Wanted something with slightly more space and saw this new bag Archeon. The 30L is perfect size. My Tropos was 27L. Love this backpack! Was not sure if I would like the full main opening but much easier access. I noticed the main opening zippers are somewhat harder to pull, water resistance functionality, but find them very usable. Love the side pockets. Did not think I would. The shell is thick but light. Not been caught in a rain but know this pack will perform well in a wet environment. Also purchased the Osprey Archeon 16-Inch Laptop Case. Holds my 13” iPad and 15” Air easily. This case then can fit in the 30L. Great for working where I can leave the 30L in hotel/car and use the Archeon laptop case. Perfect pair. Highly recommend and love the Scenic Valley (green) color.

Although the zippered pocket on the bottom of the inside compartment can be a pain to use if the computer and tablet sleeves are full. Used it on a five day trip to Colombia and it held everything, just. I'd bump up to a bigger size for anything seven days or longer.
