Not enough structure for plantar fasciitis

Bought these with the hope of using them for a Europe trip but returned because I didn’t find that the structure of the shoe was actually helpful for my plantar fasciitis. I found the arch support to be so lacking that my feet would fall inward. I did like that the insoles are removable so you can use custom insoles but the heel of the shoe feels too low which caused my heel to slide around and not feel secure. It needs a better heel cup and perhaps an additional shoelace hole so you could do a heel lock tie like a running shoe allows.

Not for me

The white shoes have an ugly patch on the heel. In my large size, this is a hard “no”. The white ones definitely give “nurse”

these shoes are NOT leather

I noticed how lightweight these are, and then realized they aren't even leather. Sure enough, the tag says man-made. Shoes like this will not hold up well (and notice the lowest ratings reflect that tendency for the fabric to peel). For this price, and as a sneaker, they need to be real leather! Very disappointed that they are mis-represented on the Nordstrom website. The fit was ok and they looked fine. I normally wear a 10.5 but not in this brand, so I'd ordered the 10 and it was plenty long, just will be returned, unfortunately.

5 stars for first pair, 1 star for second pair!

TLDR: Used to be best shoes for PF, but wide width no longer wide. These shoes unexpectedly took top spot in my hunt for footwear that would help relieve my chronic plantar fasciitis pain. I have never ordered shoes online and had them fit so perfectly. I have wide feet, and to have a shoe made specifically for PF that actually fit was such a relief! Width, length, comfort - everything was spot on. I’ve been wearing them every day for over 6 months (even walking miles on concrete without pain!), so I knew I could rely on a new pair for an upcoming trip to Japan. I received my new pair today and upon opening, I felt defeated. I could see that the toe box was significantly thinner, and upon trying them on, I was correct - they no longer fit my wide feet. It says 8W on the inside tag, so it’s not that I ordered the wrong size. This was the one shoe I knew I could rely on for my trip, but now I’ll have to start the hunt all over again. So disappointed.

solid construction but sizing was way off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to return these shoes. I read other reviews about the width and ordered a size up but even with that, the width was just barely working and the show was too long. I normally wear a 10W and had ordered an 11. I had to return them. Too bad. They were solid construction stylish.
