Straight Leg Jeans

I usually wear size 6 pants. I am 5'2" and 126 lbs and waist is 30". I first bought this jeans in size 6P which was too tight on me. I exchanged it to size 8P - Perfect fit! These jeans are truly straight legs. The Petite 8P inseam is 28 inches with 10" front rise; 15" back rise.

I have been a fan of this company for a few years now. The fit was always spot on. I was looking forward to a fresh pair of straight leg jeans. They totally changed the waist band of this pair. The waist is around 1 and a half to 2 sizes smaller than their old cut, while the legs fit perfectly. I still fit into my 5 other pairs of their pants, so I have what to compare them to. I gave 3 stars for the nice fabric and the good cut of the leg area. They fit like a nice pair of quality trousers, not jeggings.

I haven’t tried Wit of Wisdom before but am pleasantly surprised! I am a size 16 and I love that they have a stretchy type waist. Like the darker wash for the fall. I like straight jeans versus wide leg as the wide leg makes me look huge.

I have many Wit & Wisdom pants in 12P. This pair fits except for the waist which is very snug. I could button them but it was very uncomfortable. I have another pair I bought last year in white which fits me perfectly. I am 5' 3 1/2" tall, weigh 162 and have an hour glass body type.

There's much to like about these jeans - great color for fall, stretchy and the leg is updated so it's bit wide. It runs small, as I usually wear a 6P in this brand but had to go with the 8P, and even those are a bit snug in the waist (the most narrow part of the body).

So disappointing. I even sized up from my normal wit and wisdom size and I couldn’t even get them buttoned. Held them up to two size 12’s I have here and there is a dramatic difference in the waistband. This is the second time with the inconsistent sizing from this brand. I think it’s time to find something new.
