Boy, reviews on these pants are all over the place and really unhelpful. I visited multiple sites, including the designer's site, to try to understand how these fit because no one is providing basic measurements! Then I went to a store and tried them on. They are true to size. Not vanity sized, and not "skinny people only" luxury designer size. I am a true US12. In vanity sizing I am a 10. In lux sizes, I am usually plus-ed up to a 14. The 12 in these lovely pants fit me perfectly. I am 5'10", 175lbs, 33" true waist (which is where these high-waist pants sit), 42.5 hip, 29" inseam. Even at my height, these are too long unless I pair with a 4+ inch heel, which I won't do. So I will get the hem taken up an inch so I can wear them with a lower 2-3" heel. Buy them. Even with the additional cost to hem, they are a worthwhile timeless staple that will last years. I will buy more colors.

weirdest fit ever
I’m an avid Nordstrom shopper but this is my first review. I felt it was important to talk about how odd these pants fit. I ordered a 10, of which I’m usually between an 8 and 10, and the waist probably fit like a four or six. The rest of the pants, however, were like a 14. I’ve never worn a pair of pants before that was both enormous on me, and way too small at the same time.

who has legs this long
Pants are really really long. I’ve had germs that are an inch too long, maybe, but I can get away without hemming by wearing heels, these are easily 5-6 inches too long. I’m not sure who has this body type, but it’s not me

Tiny waistline
The material look beautiful but these were designed for Victoria Secret Models. The waistband is tiny and the rest of the pant is very large and very long. I would have gotten them altered but if I go up a size, I will drown in these pants. Sad but had to return. Hope they make a petite version!
