Paul Green shoes/boots are not fitting the same

I have loved Paul Green for 20 years and I'm now seeing that the fit is different for both my daughter and me. The shoes are also very stiff. I wonder if they are no longer made in Austria.

beautiful Paul Green shoes

I tried both the black croc and boa earth versions in this shoe and found them to be not just be true to size but to fit exceptionally well at the heel. The only reasons I returned them are 1. I need something closer to 1.5" heel height at the moment, and 2. the black croc felt slightly dressy for my style vibe. The boa earth version is darker than shown and it is not my 'style', but it a beautiful brown and (neutral) tan and a very high-end looking snake print. If I had endless cash I would have absolutely keep both.
