Eileen Relaxed Striped Button-Up Shirt

I have been spoiled by wearing Frank and Eileen’s wonderful “Eileen” style shirts. I wear a 36DD bra and with the Eileen style there is no gaping across the bust. When I tried my first one on at Nordstrom’s a year ago it was a “Eureka” moment to find a button-up shirt where I didn’t have to add snaps or pins between the buttons in order to keep my shirt closed. I ordered this terrific black and cream stripe shirt in an XS, the size same size I wear my Eileen shirts in. I loved this pattern and was confident it would fit. I also thought I was ordering an Eileen so I didn’t even try a Waverly style shirt on in store first. When it arrived and put it on I realized that this shirt gaped across the bust. Then I looked at the tag on the shirt and saw it was a “Waverly” style, NOT an Eileen. Then I went over to F&E’s website and doublechecked. Yes, they show this same shirt as a Waverly and YES, they make an Eileen version of it too. I liked this pattern so much I reordered it in a size small and the same thing happened, when I moved my arms, the shirt gaped even though it was oversized everywhere else. I am sad that this “Waverly” style didn’t work for me and disappointed that someone at Nordstrom’s made an error in the ordering/labeling of this shirt style for the website. This Waverly style will be great for a lot of women and I hate to take away stars but I hope it helps others know what they are getting.
