Sleeveless Linen Mandarin Collar Button-Up Shirt

I love EF linen sleeveless shirts and own many, but this one didn’t work for me. On me, the front was too long and the side slits, too high. Sadly, I had to return.

Bought this in Medium, my usual Eileen Fisher size. Put it on and it was wearable but slightly snug in chest and arm holes. Washed it to try to soften it up and air dried it, and then did not feel comfortable. Took it to get it altered and they were able to get me the extra space in the chest. Armholes still cut ever so slightly into me, but it’s wearable. It also seems quite short to me; I’m only 5’1” and yet the side cuts are at my waist/waistband of my pants. I love the style, so was going to order in large, but not longer available. So ordered a similar shirt directly from EF in large. It was, as you might expect, plenty big. I’ve washed and dried it and now can wear it. But like two vastly different sizings.

I bought this in black to wear with the black linen pants I bought earlier in the season. It made the perfect hot weather, wear anywhere outfit -flattering cut that fits well on the shoulders and under the arms light fabric but not see through.

Great fit and style. Would not have paid full price but on sale great buy

Beautifully light and cool, but the linen wrinkles considerably and is surprisingly difficult to press, making it less versatile for dressier occasions

This crisp shirt can be both informal and elegant when paired with different pieces.
