well contoured pants
After reading reviews on different websites, I purchased a PS instead of my usual PM. They fit very well; rather sleek against the body. Not particularly soft; without much stretch. I will wear them with simple tops/sweaters and my Dr Martens.

Huge hips
I love the color and the cloth, but the fit is huge in the hips. Waist is perfect, but I cannot fill out these pants; I'd need two more hips to get a good fit. Since the hip is so wide, the pockets flare out when walking. Love them, but cannot wear them. Dang

Too much give
Pants fit when I bought them and I was very pleased even though the material was a bit too thick. I wore them before washing and the fabric relaxed quickly and the pants became shapeless. I washed them and put them in the dryer hoping to tightened the fibers and they did but the pants expanded immediately again after I wore them. The zipper is of poor quality, not smooth at all. I am not a fan of EF pants and haven't bought one in many years. This was an exception and not a good result.

Utility Cotton Tapered Pant
About sizing, my thought is if you are at the upper end range of your size, think about sizing up. If at the lower end, stay with your usual size. These pants are not forgiving. I'm hoping mine shrink a bit and may actively attempt that if a regular wash and dry don't do the job. Fabric itself appears to be good, and the overall design looks 'utilitarian'.

Great Pants
After reading the reviews, I decided to order two sizes, PS and PM. The PM fit well. My favorite color is green and these are a great neutral to add to my wardrobe. I am considering ordering another color as the fit is good, I don't have to have them hem as they are a petite.
