Smaller than expected
I usually wear an 8 to 8-1/2 women's shoe but lately I have been forced to order a 9 or even a little larger. These size 9, I couldn't even get my toes in them. I'm not sure but I don't think my foot size has changed that much. Had to return these. Can the shoe manufacturers get their act together and standardize shoe sizes? Appreciate that Nordstroms lists 'True to Size' or 'Runs Small' in their descriptions, but this time, for me, it was way off.

This very nicely made shoe is not for me
The shoe lives up to Easy Spirit’s quality standards but has minimal arch support, and the colors are muddier than they appear in the photo. The navy blue portion of the shoe is a grayish-blue rather than the “clearer” navy blue. I normally take a 9 to 9 1/2 (usually roomy on me) and my toes hit the end of this 9 1/2. If the arch support was more substantial, I would have tried a 10, but am returning these (since it’s a mule style, I cannot use an arch support insert).
