Maxwell Square Neck Long Sleeve Gown

It’s really hard for me to find a dress in my late 40s. Not too sexy and not too granny. This dress was a perfect mix of flattering your shape without too much boobage.i felt comfortable wearing it inside a church for a wedding as my shoulders weren’t out either. Only issue was that I found there was damage, a pull in the mesh underneath the armpit area, as I was trying it on. I didn’t have time to exchange it, but watch for those little snags in the mesh before you cut those tags. Not sure this is even repairable. Dress is also long on short peeps like me, 5’3”. 130lbs. 32DD. With 4” heels, it still dragged a bit.

This gown was well worth the price. It came packaged beautifully and ready to wear. I am 65, 5'7", 140 lbs, curvy on top and bottom, I ordered a Medium, and the gown clings elegantly while beautifully disguising my not-so-great details! It's a tad long to wear with my preferred kitten heels, so I will need to be careful. It's truly elegant - a very special piece that will definitely turn heads. Thank you.

Nordstrom has a large selection of beautiful evening dresses. I was able to try several styles in my size, 10, where as in other stores I was lucky to find two dresses in my size. The service was excellent and even though the attendant was busy with several clients, he checked in regularly and looked for a dress I liked but needed in a larger dress. I highly recommend Nordstrom for finding the perfect dress. They also have alteration services.
