Lyla Crepe Cocktail Dress

I liked this dress. I didn’t end up keeping it. I was trying to find something for my wedding….and it just wasn’t “the one”. I am 5’6”, 155#, 36D. I ordered a large. I think I am in between sizes for this manufacturer. I could have had this one altered (taken in….it was just a little too big), but I am certain the medium would have been too tight. The dress is well made, though and very comfortable. I think the girls would have stayed put even without a bra!

Bought this for a wedding. I am 5'5" and 127 lbs. I usually am a size 4-6. Initially,I ordered the Small. It was not going to zip all the way up so I returned and got a Medium instead. It was a good fit through the bodice, but I needed to have the underarms (sides) taken in just a notch and it fits like a glove. It was an easy fix. Very flattering dress as it shows off the feminine side.

I previously ordered this dress in an X-Small because that is my normal size (I’m 5’5”, 120 lbs.). I should have read more reviews that said this dress ran a little small because I wound up returning it - it was slightly snug all around. I reordered it in a Small (as soon as it came back in stock!) and it’s PERFECT! It’s simple, classic (love the navy!) and just a little sexy with the lower neckline!

Ordered for a wedding; was excited based on the reviews I had read here but sadly will be returning. I have a DD chest and even though there is a plunge, I was squished on top so much that they spilled out of the sides making my arms look enormous. Also felt baggy around the waist, just overall an odd fit.

I ordered a size up as reviews recommended. So glad I did. It fits PERFECTLY. I also got it hemmed to knee length as another reviewer did, as I’m not a fan of midi length on me. I’m wearing it tonight to an event and can’t wait! The neckline is super flattering and this dress fits me like a glove! I’m typically an 8/M and this L fits perfectly.

The cut and color (burgundy) is beautiful. The fabric quality is mediocre for the price. I’m 5’10” and the waistline hit me at the wrong spot so I had to return.
