Livia Fit & Flare Dress

This dress fit me beautifully and TTS. I am 5’3”, 110lbs, small busted (30C) and curvy on the bottom. The bodice of the dress fit me perfectly. I can see how those with average or larger bust would have to go up in size. The dress was tea-length on me, which I did not care for. I felt it was frumpy for my age (late 30s) and I had a lot of excess fabric in the skirt. I had my tailor shorten it to just below my knees. This gave the dress a more a-line look that was age appropriate. My tailor gave me two options to shorten it, an easy/less labor intensive option or the same way it was finished originally. The second option retained the integrity of the hemline so it kept the swingy movement. I chose this option but it added to the price tag significantly. I love the dress, but the added cost of shortening is something for petites to consider when purchasing.
