Elle Sweetheart Neck Sheath Midi Dress

This dress is beautiful. It has an amazing fit. The sweetheart neckline gives this dress a classy look, the color is beautiful for the holidays. This is my first Dress the Population dress, I will definitely be buying more from this brand. Also, I like that this brand carries XXS, I always have issues with the fitting of dresses. So I’m glad that they have this extra size for an extra great fit.

This is my first Dress the Pop dress. The material is a soft texture and the burgundy is a classy color for my life style. It runs small along the top. It can accent your breasts in a very flattering manner. I have received a numerous compliments from both men and ladies. It is not a go to the office type dress in my opinion, but a wonderful event out dress or special occasion dress. I usually wear a size large, sometimes a medium. It was hard swallow to have to order an extra large, but once I got it on, it was a feel good moment. Go higher on size .

I'm 5'11" and gave birth 2 months ago, so take this review with a grain of salt: The fabric quality was fine, but the color was much more mauve/pink vs. the hot pink I was expecting. The fit was horrible. I've noticed that Dress the Population dresses are huge in the hips and way too tight in the chest. I ordered an XL (I'm a 10/12), and it would not zip in the back. The hips were huge and needed to be taken in. Way too much work to be done with a tailor, and I didn't think it was worth it. I sent it back.

I love this dress but I'm not sure who it's made for. I'm a perfect size 8 but this dress was way too tight from the waist up to the neck. Unable to zip it beyond the waist. I also tried this dress in another color and had the same problem. This seems to be a manufacturing issue and I cannot recommend this dress to anyone who expects it to be a normal size 8.

I am 5'6 and weight 150 lbs. I ordered a Medium and it was WAY too tight. I thought this dress would look good on a curvy bod, but I should have sized up. Color was beautiful. Fabric felt a bit too thin. I wanted this for a family wedding, but decided on something a little more forgiving. I would suggest sizing up if you have a little hip on you. ;)
