Dramatic Jersey Rhinestone Gown with Train

Wow. I have seen some really bad reviews for LaFemme here, and also reviews from people who don’t know how to write them. There’s one other review ATP, and the lady says they got a used dress. These are Marketplace items, so Nordstrom never had your dress, it came direct from LaFemme, and what you wrote wasn’t a review OF THE DRESS. Let’s do better. For me, size chart says I am an 8, I am 5’2” 140 and I have a small waist, big fake b**bs, 32DDD, and a big butt. The dress was too big, unforch. The fabric is very nice and I think would offer great compression if tight, and the bra top was actually surprisingly secure. I got the royal color and one thing I didn’t like is the stones are AB, and they looked turquoise. I feel I could probably hem this a whole foot shorter and still have room to spare because it’s so long. I wasn’t sure about how the proportions would fare on me bc I’m so short and I’m sure the models are very tall—I am looking for a military ball dress though, and almost every dress out there is ultra low back rn, this dress wasn’t (I was worried it would be since my torso is short in comparison to the model’s), and I could wear my slightly lower waist shapewear shorts with it, undetected. It is sold out in the next smaller sizes I would need but I would def try to reorder if it weren’t. Idk what everyone else is doing/getting from LaFemme but I loved this dress and would have kept it in the right size. <3

It arrived last night. It has tags, but has it been worn by someone already? It's the last pink one in a 4, so my daughter is considering whether keep the dress. But it's so disappointing for [what should be] a brand new prom dress to arrive with a visible circle of gray dust/dirt around the entire hem. It's not the attention to detail one would expect from Nordstrom. As far as the dress goes, it's pretty. The color is candy pink, it seems to run just slightly larger than the other size 4 prom dresses we have tried. The built-in bra cups and adjustable straps are helpful. Sparkly, flattering, but comfortable, not too revealing. Perfect length for 5'10" adult with 3" heels. Hemming would probably require a professional.
