I expected better quality from Dr. Martens

I bought these 1461 Oxfords a few weeks ago since they were a great deal and I already like my 1460s. They look nice, but the craftsmanship is lacking. These are made in Laos, and the finish on the heel is quite rough and uncomfortable. I also noticed some loose stitching on the soles. I'm going to keep them, but they definitely didn't meet my expectations quality-wise.

I LOVE THESE SHOES

I bought these shoes originally in 2022, and I'm on my second pair bought this year! I have worn them everyday to school for nearly 5 years now and they are my favourite shoes. Only took about 2 weeks to break in and now fit really well. NO BLISTERS! Comfy. All round great pair of shoes, will be buying again as well as more boots.

School shoes

Great quality and easy to look after with the correct products. Downside is the shoe doesn’t offer half-sizes and sizing up isn’t ideal at times. Had to purchase insoles and bandaids as heels blistered first week adjusting to fit of shoe. Takes a few weeks to accustom to shoe to break them in.
