Down Coat

I was disappointed with this coat. Very boxy, unflattering fit, even in the smallest size. The outer polyester is plastic-y and cheap, not high end like some down coats. The shearling was rough to the touch, not soft like my Ugg shearling boots (also using Australian shearling). All Blue Duck down coats are Made in China. I would avoid this brand altogether.

I got this jacket on sale but saw it selling for almost 1k in other stores. Considering it’s made of premium down (90%, 10% feather) and genuine shearling, even the full price is justified. It’s absolutely chic, soft and warm with zero smell or leaking down. The cut is perfect for layering and falls just on my knee, giving the perfect warmth. There are two zippered slits on the side if you want to walk more freely, but it’s still very comfortable with ample space zipped. I can imagine this jacket lasting a lifetime, and even passed on to my daughter in future. Classic style and color with best materials - best purchase this winter!
