Vernis Crème Abricot

I am a 71 year-old woman who takes pride in her nails. I have used Crème Abricot for decades and swear by it. I have recommended it to countless women. This last pot I ordered contained less product at the same price. It lasted a fraction of the time as previous pots. As a long-time VERY faithful user I am angry and feel betrayed by Dior. If they needed to raise the price I could accept that, but to cut the amount is devious. I have never found a product which works as well BUT no more for me. What a way to treat devoted customers!!!

This isn’t the same Creme Abricot that I’d been using for years. I usually stock up, so I’d finally run out and recently re-purchased. The texture is different (way stickier than before) and it doesn’t moisturize my cuticles as the original version had. It’s also much smaller than before and more expensive, so the price increase is pretty substantial. I would’ve have minded if it were of the same quality, but the quality has declined while the price has gone up. I returned all the unopened ones that I ordered and will not be repurchasing.

It’s the stickiest substance on earth next to Nutella, but this stuff WORKS and works FAST. 1-2 nights on cuticles or rough patches on your feet and it’s like all the dryness just disappears and you have baby skin all over again. Smells great, and you don’t have to use a lot - this little pot goes a long way. Top 5 products of all time.

I normally use Burt’s bees lemon butter but I thought I would try something new. Feels great at first but it melts into your skin and the greasiness goes away quickly. My cuticles definitely feel and look moisturized. I’m not sure the price point is worth it vs the $5 Burt’s bees that I’ve used for years. Would I buy this again. Yes but not habitually. I will probably alternate between this and Burt’s bees.
