Sauvage Shaving Gel

I took a bit of a chance on this one since it’s expensive and also because my facial hair is so coarse and thick. I’ve tried about every type of razor and regimen you can buy as well with results that always seem to fall short. However, this gel lathers/spreads beautifully and allows my razor to cut with little to no friction. I also have sensitive skin that responded really well to the cactus extract featured in this formula. I highly recommend this gel as a solid bi-monthly investment for those with coarse hair that shave every other day. For reference: I applied one dime-size amount after first washing my face with Jack Black “face buff.” Using a Gillette Skinguard razor, I was able to shave with and against the grain with zero irritation. I’m really impressed with the results.
