These shoes are extremely comfortable. I loved them. Wore them for my daughter’s graduation but the leather started peeling under the crossover in the front of the shoe. This should not happen to any shoe after just one use and much less such an expensive shoe. Very disappointing.

I never leave bad reviews, this is my first. I bought these shoes for an important event and was shocked to find visible damage right out of the box: scratches on the insole and peeling leather. (See photos) With no time to return them or find another option, I had no choice but to wear the damaged pair. I told myself maybe it was just a one-off quality control issue and hoped they’d hold up. But after JUST ONE WEAR (about 4 hours), they looked even worse. The leather peeled further and new scratches appeared. For nearly $540 total, this is beyond disappointing. I see other reviewers described almost the exact same experience, which makes it even more frustrating. I reached out to Nordstrom customer service with photos and explained the situation, but they offered no support. I understand policy, but there should be some responsibility when the product quality is this poor? Really disappointed by both the shoes and the lack of care from Nordstrom. Please save yourself the frustration.
