Mae Ankle Strap Platform Clog (Women)

I wanted to love these shoes. I have worn Danskos for years in multiple models. I love their combination of arch support and fashion. Here, the color is unusual without being gaudy, and the adjustable velcro closure is a plus. The shoe is perfect on my left foot. The right foot, though, has the toe box stop just at the junction of my little toe and foot. The edge of the toe box is sharp, not rounded, and could actually cut my foot if I were to keep the shoes. I had to return them as a result.

Love this shoe. Nice padded insole and easy close Velcro strap. I’m a 7-7.5 and normally buy a 38 in European sizes. I had to go down to a 36 in this style. My feet are a tad narrow - especially in the heel. These do not feel too wide (but have plenty of room if my foot were wider) and do not slip at the heel, making them very comfortable for long walks. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to get these! I usually wear a size 6 so I ordered my usual 36. Kind of big. The Velcro closure is so clever and looks like a real buckle. I haven’t decided if I’m gonna strap them real tight and wear them or return them because they don’t make a smaller size. Little disappointed but beautiful shoe
