Current Mood Velvet Wrap Dress

I knew the sizing was AU but I gave it a try. So close! For reference, I’m 5’4”, 165lb, 36ddd, and the XL just almost fit. I’m usually around a 12 US. I could have pulled it off, but because there wasn’t quite enough material I wasn’t covered enough in the chest. A smaller chest of the same size might work.

I love it! The velvet fabric feels wonderful! In Canadian sizing I am usually a size 6 in a dress, which compares to a M in Australian sizing and it fits like a glove. I weigh aprox 128 pounds and am about 5ft 8. I love the puffed sleeves and the long cuffs. It is a very classic looking dress, that will be a great addition to my wardrobe for next winter. Holly Wainwright made me do it, I saw that she wore the velvet wrap dress with a wide wrap belt to an event and looked amazing! I have been eyeing it off for a while and even though I don‚t have an event to wear it to I had to grab it when it went on sale. It is just so beautiful, an event will come up eventually and I will be prepared!
