Crossover Hoop Earrings in Sterling Silver, 22.3mm

I purchased these earrings for my daughter. I usually purchase from David Yurman directly, and they always ship things beautifully packaged and ready to gift. I decided to order these from Nordstrom along with my other purchases. These earrings arrived from Nordstrom in a tiny brown package, and upon opening, I saw that these $500 earrings were placed inside a tiny, upmarked, beat-up Nordstrom box with SKU # tape all over the little grey box. (This is not the first time this has happened, but it is the last time) The earrings were beautiful, but the packaging looked so cheap and showed zero care in how this item was presented on behalf of David Yurman. Even if I were buying these for myself, the entire presentation was such a letdown that I would have still returned them. I am shipping them back and repurchasing from David Yurman directly, and I will do so from this point forward. If you value the traditional David Yurman packaging, buy direct; Nordstrom ships these as if you are buying second-hand. Very disappointing Nordstrom.
