Crinkled Maxi Skirt

I have been looking for a maxi skirt like this for Years. I am not exaggerating. Years. I'm a size 10-12 and 5'4.5", 140 lbs., small waist, round hips, and have a hellava time finding flattering skirts. Most of what I see is tiered, A-line, or straight, and there are asymmetric hemlines, slits, all sorts of things except a long full skirt with a defined waist and an even, straight hem. This skirt is perfection. Pull on, but no cheesy, bunchy elastic look, just a thin, smooth waistband which works for tucking in a top or wearing one out. Great with anything from a tank top or tee to a shorter leather jacket, a silk blouse, a fitted or cropped blazer, you get the idea. I tried on the black in the store and brought it home with me. Ordered the off white from the salesperson as she was ringing up the black. This isn't flimsy. It's lined and the skirt itself is textured and has some weight, unlike a lot of the cheap clothes that are out there these days. If you dry clean it, as I plan to, you should get years of wear from it. As to the length, this hits me right above the top of my foot. The Vince website lists the length as 38". A true maxi length. Thank you Vince! Please make more colors. I would buy it in Coastal Blue in a hot minute.

Why does this skirt have to be so perfect? I tried it on and fell instantly in love, then looked at the price tag and gasped in horror. Its Vince, so I shouldn't have been surprised. I went home and tried to forget about it, but it haunted me. I had to go back to Nordstrom today to return some things and there it was. I tried it on one more time, hoping to find something wrong with it, but sadly it was even more perfect than last week. Full without looking big, long enough for my 5'9" height without looking like I live in a little house on a prairie or a convent, and a very attractive hidden waistband that pairs perfectly with cropped tops but still allows for longer tops to tuck in. Day to night, dressed up or down, I will definitely get $500 worth of wear out if this piece.

It’s so beautiful. I am 5’2. It is very long. I can pull it up and wear a crop top with flats or pull it down and use heels. It’s washable or you can dry clean it. It felt very comfortable. Dress it up or down. I agree with another review-it’s a forever skirt. I purchased the green one. I gasped too at the price. The most expensive thing in your closet is the one you don’t wear. I see myself wearing this piece often. Really.

This skirt is amazing! The quality is beyond perfect. The waistline is exactly as other reviewer said. I have many black skirts but none to compare to this one. It feels great on and looks incredible. This piece will be so versatile. You can wear it at the waist or for a longer look at the hips. Debating whether to purchase in off white. Price is high but you can buy one high quality skirt or several lower price items. Buy this one and get your money’s worth.

This skirt is so, so, so perfect *except* it’s kinda pricy and it doesn’t have pockets. But otherwise it is the skirt to have. I’ve tried other skirts and none of them work even if they do have pockets. So get this skirt before it’s gone. I’m 5’6” and the length is on point with flat shoes, sandals, kitten heels; with heels the skirt’s length appears a bit shorter. It’s lined, it doesn’t wrinkle. This skirt works well casual or dressed up. I will wear this skirt in all seasons. Sweater and suede ankle boots, jean shirt, white linen shirt, a polo shirt and sandals and the list goes on. I love ❤️ this skirt. Definitely a 5 maybe a 10. 😁😁😁
