Light weight and warm
I really like the versatility of this garment. Provides great insulation and is extremely versatile. The material seems to hold up well with washing and extended use.

Piling
It’s very soft but it’s already piling less than 2 months of occasional wear

Nice layer
Little thinner than I was expecting but the material is soft. Great for shoulder seasons.

My New Go-To for North Georgia Chilly Days
So, here’s the deal: I slipped on this Outdoor Research Crescent Fleece Hoodie, and it instantly climbed the ranks to “favorite jacket” status. Haven’t technically road-tested it on a hike yet, but just trying it on, I can tell it’s going to be a winner.
The merino and recycled poly blend feels like a technical wonder-fabric. It’s got this sneaky good temperature control—like it knows when you’re on the move and when you’re just standing around. Fit-wise, it’s got that athletic but forgiving cut. I’m a tall guy and the sleeves didn’t leave me feeling like I’m wearing my kid’s jacket. So bonus points for that.
In short: this fleece is pretty much my new sidekick for those cool North Georgia mornings and afternoons. If it turns out as good on the trail as it does in my living room, I’ll be one happy hiker.

Great Hoodie, Not as Warm as Expected
Comfortable and breathes well with a good, true to size, fit. I quite like this hoodie and have been wearing it often. Only reason for 4 stars is warmth. I bought online and it is much lighter than the 4/5 warmth in the product description lead me to believe, so it doesn't work for the weather I intended to use it in.
