very comfy
one of the warmest jackets I own and very comfortable. I ordered a size up so that I could layer underneath. My first purchase of an outdoor research product and would recommend! I actually wouldn't mind a thicker/warmer coat but there aren't that many options out there for the price point
I'm 5'6" and this hits around my calves

Material collects a lot of hair.
I really wanted to love this coat. It had everything I was looking for; wrist gaiters, large internal drop pocket (for hats or gloves when inside), length, warmth, cozy baffled neck. But the material was an unfortunate deal breaker! It's this matte rough material that picks up every dog hair or piece of lint. With how long it is, hanging around the legs, it's a whole lot of coat that picks up hair. I wanted it to walk the dog in winter or just on really cold days in the Midwest but it's not really a grab and go jacket and it can't just be left in my not-so-clean car. I'd have to spend time lint rolling every time I wanted to use it. So for me it's just not a realistic piece of outerwear for my lifestyle. I tried hard to like it. I even ordered 4 more coats to compare to (Marmot Montreaux, Marmot Prospect, Patagonia Jackson Glacier, Mountain Hardwear Stretchdown Long Parka). I ended up keeping the MH Stretchdown Parka. Same style, still warm, better material. I will say that this Coze Down was the warmest of all of them and really good value for how warm it is. If they change the material I'd purchase it!

large around the middle
I was looking to size up from my current North Face Arctic Parka after gaining a few menopause pounds. This coat was a beautiful color (Harbor) but was a) quite large in the midsection b) longer than the other coat which makes it tough to walk and c) seemed less warm overall. While my other parka sheds feathers on the interior (something I would like to avoid), I think I will just size up on that jacket instead of going with this one - the quality just felt better.

So cozy
The jacket appears to be great quality. It’s so fluffy I feel like I’m in a sleeping bag, in a good way. It’s warm and I love how the hood fits. My only dislike is the fabric in the pockets, it’s that microfiber feel and it sticks to my skin. Haven’t gotten to wear it in extreme cold yet as winter is almost done in MI, but I have a feeling it will work great.

This jacket is a perfect, roam around town, walk the dog, stay warm kind of jacket. I love the big hood, and fleece neck baffle to keep the cold out. The side zips are perfect for a little extra mobility. The pockets are perfect; small zippered inside pocket is great to keep your phone, and the big mesh pocket to store gloves or a hat. The hand pockets are fleece lined and cozy. Not to mention how comfortable the jacket it...it feels like a sleeping bag with arms, but actually has some shape to it, so doesn't look like a sleeping bag with arms.

Love at first wear
A dream made coat..... Light, cozy, warm ..... I don't even need a scarf to keep me warm..... And do not worry about the non-impermeability, made for the harsh of winter not for a hurricane.
