Coverup Smock Waist Mini Skirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these shorts in a size medium and they’re true to size. They fit comfortably. This is something that you would wear over a bathing suit as a cover up since the legs are wide. I personally didn’t like the print, it looked way better in the photo for me but that’s a personal preference. The shorts are well made and I like the elastic around the waist too. Overall it’s a cute design.

While she is use to only swimsuits that show a lot more skin than this she said she'll still wear this on the beach or even as an outfit. It is the traditional swimsuit material, but due to this specific style it provides the option to wear it as a comfortable outfit while going somewhere other than the beach which would be absolutely perfect at a water park or a theme park where you may get wet!!

The fabric is super soft and stretchy, the cut is age appropriate and allows for freedom of movement without worry, the smocking will keep them nice and secure, the print is adorable. I'm happy with the sizing, they're pretty true to size. A lot of brands I've noticed tend to run small on swimwear. Overall my 13 year old loves the look and feel, and I as her mom love that it's age appropriate.
