So rather than use the quicker cut-and-sew method used in lesser cotton sweaters these days, our Drifter™ is fully fashioned — shaped by the knitting — to follow the body for a better fit. The classic shaker finds its roots in the originals knit by the wives of fisherman, inspired by the knots used to make their nets. The raised structure provided by this technique provides warmth — by trapping body heat — and wind resistance. The rich texture and pattern adds a whole new dimension to your wardrobe options.
