Sleeveless Cotton-poplin Shirt Dress

By itself, it’s a very nice dress. Love the cotton, nothing better in hot, hot weather. I ordered the white and was surprised and somewhat disappointed when the dress arrived to find all the seaming details, esp. the dropped waistband. It wasn’t viewable online. However, despite those unfortunate details, the dress itself is flattering on me which is hard to find. No frills, no ruffles, no plunging necklines just good tailoring and good fabric.

It really bothers me when the picture is not like the actual dress. Why wrap a sweater here? This is a drop waist dress where the bottom flares out in a big A line, not pictured here. The pictures make it look straight. Still, it is a nice crisp poplin. I will probably return it.

Drop waist, beautiful dress. Crisp cotton not terribly see through. Comfortable and classic.
